Greetings virtual anglers! I’m glad to be back writing guides for Ultimate Fishing Simulator 2 (UFS2). I hope you find them useful in your virtual fishing journey. This guide lists the locations, lures, techniques, hooks, and baits I used to catch all the species in Jackson National Park.

Bluegill

Location: 3, 5

Lure/technique: Rob. Classic Twist 8 cm – orange/pink/black – slow straight 15%

Hook size: #14

Bait: Bread

Notes: These guys are harder than average to find. Found another one at location 5 on 9/17/22.

Brown Bullhead

Location: 1-6

Lure/technique: Rob. Classic twist – blue/black/orange/white – slow straight – 25%

Hook size: UFA Bait Hook #16

Bait: Snail

Notes: They’re everywhere.

Grass Pickerel

Location: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7

Lure/technique: Rob. Classic twist – blue/black/pink/white – Slow straight 10-25%

Largemouth Bass

Location: 1 – under bridge, 3 – E/W

Lure/technique: Rob Classic Twist 8 cm – pink/white – straight slow; Rob. Sonic S33 10g – straight 25%; Sakura Notobug 30F – green brown – straight 22%

Notes: Caught while clear and overcast. A little harder to find, but did just catch another one at location 3 with a Rob. Classic Twist 8 cm – white lure. Fishing with the Sonic S33 10g does makes it where the small fish like pumpkinseed and pickerels won’t bite.

Pumpkinseed

Redfin Pickerel

Location: 1 – directly under bridge, 5 – SE

Lure/technique: Rob. Classic Twist 8 cm – black/orange/pink – slow straight

Notes: These guys are more rare than the other species on the map (bluegill and largemouth bass are the other two that are harder to find). I’ve caught two redfin recently, southeast of 5 with the Rob. Classic Twist 8 cm – black – slow straight 15% – afternoon – overcast. One was 30 ft from shore and one was 70 ft. Pictures below. Smallmouth Bass

Location: 1-7 – abundant

Bait: Dragonfly, grasshopper, fly, bleak

Yellow Perch

Bait: Earthworm

Notes: Can fish these consistently by going to location 6 and using the UFA Twister 8 cm – black gold
